Our Board of Directors provides leadership, guidance, and accountability as we work to strengthen communities and improve the lives of the people we serve. Each member brings unique experience, perspective, and a shared commitment to the mission of Community Connections of California.
Dr. Mark Reber, DDS, MS
Dr. Mark Reber is a dedicated dentist and community advocate committed to ensuring that everyone has access to quality dental care, regardless of their ability to pay. He currently provides dental services to Medi-Cal members and is passionate about supporting underserved populations in his community.
Dr. Reber is actively involved in his church and community organizations, where he finds purpose in serving others. He also serves on the Dental Board of California, contributing his expertise to the dental profession while advocating for patient access and safety.
Dr. Reber earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Brigham Young University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and Master of Science (MS) in Oral Biology from UCLA. He is committed to service, advocacy, and improving the well-being of others.

Amanda Homer, BSN
Amanda Homer is a compassionate nurse dedicated to supporting families and strengthening her community. With experience in both Labor & Delivery and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), she has helped families navigate some of the most critical and stressful moments of childbirth with care, guidance, and advocacy.
Born and raised in Monterey County, Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from BYU-Idaho. She is passionate about women's health, birth equity, and ensuring underserved communities have access to respectful and informed care.
Outside of her clinical work, Amanda volunteers in her community and uses her skills and experience to give back, support families, and empower others.

Wendy Bluhm brings nearly two decades of experience in the real estate and mortgage industries, having helped families throughout California navigate important financial and housing decisions. Her professional experience gives her a strong understanding of the challenges families can face when working toward stability and long-term goals.
Beyond her professional experience, Wendy is known for her compassion, empathy, and genuine care for others. She has a heart for people who are often overlooked or underserved and believes that encouragement, kindness, and a positive outlook can make a meaningful difference in someone's life.
Wendy is the kind of person who reminds others to keep going, even when the road ahead feels difficult. She leads with positivity, encourages those around her, and is passionate about empowering people to recognize their own strength and potential.
