Growing up in California, Brittany developed a deep commitment to helping people who are often overlooked or underserved. A native of Monterey County, she has spent more than 15 years working in social services with individuals and families experiencing homelessness, justice involvement, foster care, probation, and other significant barriers.

As a single mother, Brittany has experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to navigate complicated systems while building a stable and hopeful future for a family. Her three daughters have been a constant source of motivation and have strengthened her desire to lead by example through compassion, perseverance, and service to others.

Throughout her career, Brittany has worked alongside people from many different walks of life and developed a particular passion for supporting justice-involved individuals. She has seen how much can change when people are given the opportunity, support, and encouragement to believe in a different future.

These experiences inspired Brittany to found Community Connections of California with a vision to do nonprofit work differently. She wanted to create an organization where people feel seen, heard, respected, and supported, and where someone is willing to walk alongside them rather than simply point them toward a resource.

Brittany holds a Master of Social Work from San Jose State University, a Bachelor's degree in Marriage and Family Studies from BYU-Idaho, and associate degrees in Sociology and Administration of Justice from Monterey Peninsula College.

As Founder and Executive Director, Brittany brings her professional experience, personal perspective, leadership, and passion for advocacy to building Community Connections of California into a trusted organization serving communities throughout California.
